The details:
• Easy response.
• Pleasant tone – not dark, but not bright either, will blend well with an ensemble.
• Stable pitch.
• Tuned to A=440, crowing “C” octaves.
• Available in medium-soft, medium, or medium-hard strengths.
I use the following materials:
• Cane gouged with a Kunibert Michel gouging machine.
• Shape is a Pfeiffer-Mack reproduction, shaped on a Reeds ‘n Stuff shaping machine.
• Stevens silver, thinwall, 46.5mm staples.
Each reed is sterilized in 70% isopropyl alcohol before mailing.
